To Whom It May Concern:
Thank you so much for our new DLX Angle Load Float! We bought our first float from Thoroughbred nearly two years ago, after doing much research and asking around and learnt that a Thoroughbred float was superior to any other on the market. While our horses are not worth a fortune as some others are, we have always believed in doing the best for them, keeping them safe and happy. We came up to the factory to take a look at how the floats are made, and we were not disappointed! When you see the quality of the chassis used (especially the number of cross members in the floor when compared to other floats) and the commitment of your staff to quality, there is no comparison. We were also impressed that Thoroughbred were prepared to modify and add or subtract things as we wanted, so as a customer, you really do get exactly what you want. We have also found that there is lots and lots of room for everything in our float and it tows very, very well. There is no sway on the road, it is well balanced and extremely smooth. Your customer service is outstanding (something that is very rare these days). Our email to you was answered within the hour and your ongoing communication with us was excellent. Our horses arrive in Taupo in great condition, ready for competition, and none of us have to worry. This is the reason that a couple of weeks before Christmas we came back to you to get a second DLX Angle Load Float, and yes, we love our second (matching) float just as much as the first one. Thank you to you and your friendly, helpful staff. We will definitely be recommending you to anyone we know who is wanting a horse float.

I am so happy with my new beautiful purple DLX straight load float, my daughters large 16.2 appy fits in with room to spare. All his loading issues are gone and he is a very confident self loader and traveller now. I am really pleased I chose to have the alloy and rubber ramp which completely removes the noise on loading which was unnerving him. My mare who used to spend all her time looking over her shoulder for following trucks and buses making floats bounce around now travels beautifully and happily with the top rear door shut, it was well worth the extra cost as we now both travel stress free. I now hardly know I have a float or horse behind me as both tow so well. The sales and service and easy finance process was fantastic. Thank you thoroughbred for making getting my dream float so easy for me.

I love the Thoroughbred float I have, the DLX Classic is nice, simple and has plenty of room for the horses. It tows beautifully this is due to its excellent craftsmanship, and I feel confident that my horses are safe while travelling. I found Alanna & Mark Aarts very helpful to deal with and the decision to purchase a Thoroughbred Float was made easier when I found they have horses of their own and were able to answer every question from a personal experience perspective.

To Whom It May Concern:
In late March 2009 I purchased a Two Horse Angle Load float from Thoroughbred Floats.
I am impressed with the width and length afforded by the float, as I intend to travel a 16.3hh 3/4 thoroughbred that is long in the back. I have found my mare fits very well in the float and is able to stand comfortably in the bay. The floor is an excellent surface for horses to stand on and is very easy to clean. The addition of electric brakes has proved to be an excellent choice and has added further ‘peace of mind’ when it comes to the safe operation of my tow vehicle/float combination.
In my opinion, every aspect of the float has been very well thought through, both from a safety and structural standpoint, Suffice to say, I am very impressed with my DLX 2 Horse Angle Load float and I actively encourage anyone contemplating purchasing a float of this high standard to include Thoroughbred Floats in their product inspections.

I have had the pleasure of taking possession of a new Thoroughbred Luxury Liner. I was the proud owner of a DLX that I purchased off Tony & Ngaire in 2003. I was advised at the time to go to the Luxury Liner but at the time I didn't see the need for the extra space etc.
However with my hobby progressing and doing more competing I had been considering the change for some time. I finally enquired not long after Tracey & her partner had taken over Top Notch Products.
I found Tracey superb to deal with. Her understanding of horses, and riding enables her to realise and appreciate where we like things placed in the floats, this is an asset to the company. I believe in taking over of Thoroughbred Floats they will take what was already an outstanding product and grow and develop the floats further. A new order was placed and my DLX sold within hours of being advertised.
Tracey explained things to me in detail like the tack box, when you are at different ends of the country it can be very hard, but Tracey took photos and talked me through all the options, answering all my questions and concerns. Her suggestions were all brilliant and I now have a beautiful spacious float that I am thrilled with. I had initially been casual about the time frame, not expecting my DLX to sell so fast and when it did, Tracey prioritised my order and the float was completed within the time frame she had said.
My partner & I have looked at many floats over the years, with his engineering background and having previously owned a 'fly by night company' float, for us the only float to own is a Thoroughbred.

We purchased a Thoroughbred float 9 years ago. During that time we found the float to be a strong, sturdy, reliable trailer. We have found this business to stand 100% behind their product and give us honest and dependable service. So much so, that we decided to upgrade our float for the 2007/2008 season and we have gone back to Thoroughbred for a new float.

I had been looking to purchase a float for some time and after a lot of research decided to go with a Thoroughbred DLX float. It was a great decision. Tracey and Chris were fabulous to deal with right from the start, they have a wealth of knowledge and experience to draw from and it made a huge difference in the end product. The float is brilliant - it tows like a dream and feels really stable on the road. My horse loads with ease (she previously had only been trucked so I was concerned about this) because the interior feels light and not at all inhibiting. The optional extras such as the aluminium kickboards, water tank and the seats with storage bins have been really worthwhile and have certainly made life easier when out. I've had quite a few comments on my float, not only does it have all the Thoroughbred practicality and reliability but she's gorgeous looking too with her metallic paint finish!
